50 Days of Christmas With Boots

Christmas is now just officially one month away, and if the sights of pretty decorated Christmas tree's filling our social media timelines isn't a reminder, or the photo's of the perfectly wrapped presents with bows, then maybe it's the Christmas song's being played back to back on the radio, or the Christmas adverts being played on every television break possible.

Everywhere we turn we see Christmas, and I LOVE it all, though I need to get into gear and start buying presents pretty soon, because before we know it the mince pies will be laid out ready for Santa, the presents will be stacked neatly under the tree, and stockings of all styles and sizes will be filled with presents of all kinds across the nation.

I know I'm not alone with leaving the Christmas present buying until the last minute, in fact, just yesterday I had a few friends over for a girlie night in, and between the seven of us, not a single person has finished their gift buying, and four of us (myself included) haven't purchased a single item yet, and let's not get started on the wrapping, though one of the three who has started, has wrapped and tagged everything she's got so far - talk about 'organised Olivia'.

Although I haven't purchased a single present yet, I do have a few presents in the present pile thanks to Boots, who kindly got in touch with me to ask if I'd like to take part in their 50 Days of Christmas with Boots collaboration. Having shopped at Boots every Christmas, and no doubt I'll be shopping there this Christmas too, I was excited to see what presents, treats and stocking fillers they had to offer this year.

A selection of different gifts available from Boots.

I was given a task to find perfect presents for two special people in my life, and with much thought and hesitation, I decided the two people I was going to treat this Christmas were my best friend Lauren and my sister Paula (more than my sister but a best friend too!), these ladies mean so much to me, I thought it would be nice to treat them to some items I know they'd love from Santa, and even a few surprises too.

Presents For
 Paula

Beauty & The Beast 3D Bubble Bath from Boots

I picked this Beauty & The Beast 3D Bubble Bath from the Christmas gifts for her range costing just £6 for 450ml for Paula. Paula's a huge Disney fan and Belle's her favourite princess, this suits Paula perfectly as there's nothing more she loves after a hard day than a relaxing bubble bath. This product is part of a range designed exclusively for Boots and is part of the Boots 3 for 2 range.

NYX Professional makeup set from Boots

Another love in Paula's life is her makeup, so much so that for her 30th birthday a couple of years ago, a bunch of us family members clubbed together to purchase her a voucher to attend a makeup course should she ever want to go into the world of makeup professionally. Paula had actually dropped a few hints about NYX makeup a few weeks before her birthday back in July, she was raving about their Worth The Hype Mascara and how she was running low so was hoping to get some more out of any birthday money she received.

This set contains three NYX products with an individual selling price of £34, however, the NYX Professional Makeup Holiday Hype - Golden Hour Gift Set costs just £25 when purchased this way. Containing a Perfect Filter Shadow Palette featuring ten vibrant shades of amazing eyeshadow, Epic Ink Liner and the product Paula loves - Worth The Hype Mascara. Loved by professionals, and up and coming professionals themselves, I'm sure Paula's going to love this!

Real Techniques Limited Edition Brush Set from Boots

Next up on Paula's stash is this Real Techniques Limited Edition Bright Eyed & Merry gift set. The set costs just £16 - containing four brushes (a shading brush, a crease prep brush, a defining crease brush and a large smudge brush) it's a steal considering some Real Technique brushes cost more than this alone, and the bonus is it's in the Boots 3 for 2 range. I think Paula has every Real Technique brush going, but I'm 99.9% sure she hasn't got these ones, and if I'm wrong I'm sure she'll still be over the moon, because in Paula's words ''one can never have enough makeup brushes''.

Disney Minnie Mouse Makeup Headband from Boots

For Paula's fourth and final present, I picked out this Disney Minnie makeup headband costing £6 and also in the Boots 3 for 2 range. Combining Paula's loves of Disney and makeup together, I can't wait to see her wearing it on our next girls night out - not on our night out of course, but when we're all queuing up to have Paula do our party faces makeup! There's nothing more frustrating than doing your makeup and having your hair get in the way, especially if you're like us and do your hair first!

Presents For Lauren

Rihanna Reb'l Fleur Love Always perfume set from Boots

Every time Lauren has come over to my house recently, I've had to hide my Rihanna Reb'l Fleur perfume from her - I don't think she realises how much she uses when she asks if she can have a little spray of it when she sees it on show in my bedroom. Although not the exact same as my favourite perfume, Rihanna Reb'l Fleur Love Always Eau is a debut of the first, with it being more richer and bolder - which is Lauren all over. The set contains a 90ml Body Lotion tube, a 30ml Bottle of EDP and a 90ml Bath and Shower Gel tube and costs just £23. This is just one of many perfume sets available from this year's Christmas gifts range.

Sleep Makeup Get Into The Nude Set from Boots

Lauren's favourite feature is her eyes, and don't we (our friend circle) know it, if she's not spending ages in the bathroom staring at her pretty lashes, and perfectly unsmudged eyeliner, then she's asking us girls if her eyes look alright, or if any of her eye make up has smudged. With this in mind, when browsing the makeup gift sets in the Boots 3 for 2 range, I come across this Sleek MakeUp Get Into The Nude set containing a 12 piece i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette and Sleek's Full Fat Lash Mascara, a bargain buy at just £12, it's the perfect gift for a makeup fan who loves their eyes - just like Lauren.

Real Technique Mini Buffing Brush from Boots

For Lauren's eyes to stand out at their utmost maximum, Lauren likes applying ''her pretty face'' (her words, not mine!) to make her eyes stand out more. If we're out and about, you can guarantee that Lauren will need to visit a restroom at least twice to powder her nose, which is all fine and well, however, because Lauren uses the sponges that come with the foundation powder she uses, she spends a long time reapplying the makeup, so I thought I'd treat her to her first Real Technique brush. The Mini Buffing Brush Ornament is apart of the Boots 3 for 2 range, and costs £6 - it's ideal for a first-time Real Technique owner.

Beechs Milk Chocolate Brazil nuts from Boots.

The last but not least present for Lauren, is this box of Beechs Milk Chocolate Brazils. This present combines two of Lauren's favourite foodie treats together - brazil nuts and chocolate. Beech's Fine Chocolates are a British confectionery manufacturer with almost 100 years of experience, using only natural ingredients and traditional techniques to produce the finest chocolates you've ever tasted, this is one present I wouldn't mind Lauren sharing - well as long as it's with me of course ;). The 90g box costs £6 and is just one of many foodie gifts available from the Boots 3 for 2 range.

There we have it, the eight presents I picked out for two people close to my heart, although given the opportunity I could've picked out gifts for my entire family and friend circle, as Boots Christmas gifts cover presents for every age and interest, with presents for her, him, the kids, the adventurous, the stationery addict, the wannabe makeup artist, the wannabe hairdresser, the ones who love their food and much much more. With over 2500 UK stores, and operating online, head on over to Boots to find your perfect festive gifting ideas.

I'd love to know what gifting options you've got your eye on this season, and what Boots gifts you're considering for your loved ones and friends?

Jada x
