MAM Pod Review

When MAM asked if I would like to review anything from their product range, I just knew the perfect item to choose. When I attended BritMums Live 2013 in June, I had the opportunity to browse various companies products and MAM was one of these companies. One of the lovely PR's showed me and Helen the fabulous range and the MAM Pod caught both of mine and Helen's eyes, we both thought and agreed it was a fabulous invention.

Although Spud is now 7, I still remember the days of the soothers, and how many I lost, I only wish something like this was around when Spud was a baby!

Baby Boo who very funnily refused a soother or dummy as we call them up until he was 6 months old and his mummy have tested this product out for us, it has survived the rough and tumble lifestyle of a very hyperactive baby and the busy superwoman mum in charge of the MAM Pod. I'm with my sister and 2 nephews (Baby Boo & Little Big Man) nearly everyday, I help out as much as I can as Little Big Man has Aspergers Syndrome (Autism) and we believe the baby may have the same (my sister was told there's a 50% chance, and Baby Boo has very similar traits).

I've lost count of the amount of times Baby Boo has lost his dummies, he's a very strong baby and as soon as he learned how too, he un-attaches them from the dummy clips and lobs them where ever he can. There has been a number of times my sister has not had a spare dummy on her, but now thanks to MAM's Pod, if a dummy emergency happens (if one shall get lost by Baby Boo) my sister always has a spare one at least (sometimes even two!) nesting perfectly safe in her new MAM Pod.

The pod boast in innovation, thanks to the velcro fastener the MAM Pod can easily be attached to a belt, baby/bag, handbag, pram/stroller & loads more. The pod has a functional design that keeps 2 soothers (dummies) clean and close at hand, its extremely easy to use, opening, filling and closing is practical and fast thanks to the easy zip system.

We've tested the pod out on the buggy, on the changing bag, and my sister has even attached it to her belt straps (where a belt would slip through) on her trousers. Since my sister received the MAM Pod via me, there has not been a day where it has not been present in our many of travels, it has never once come undone and therefore has never become lost.

Sleeping peacefully with one of his glow in the dark MAM soothers, one he may of lost without the MAM Pod!
The MAM Pod is available in a choice of colours and is sold with a suggested RRP of £5.99 from Amazon, Toys R Us, Boots, Tesco, Mothercare and many more places.
