Wilko Fun Summer Garden Products For The Kids!

With all the lovely weather we've had recently, me and Spud were delighted to receive a hamper full of outdoor toys from Wilkinson and thanks to the great people at Wilkinson, one of my lucky readers/visitors can win a hamper full of fun outdoor toys for themselves!

As me and Spud live in a flat (something I desperately wish I could change!) I'm very grateful that at least twice a month someone in the family has a BBQ or get together. To celebrate my sister's last twenty birthday, my brother and his partner had a BBQ yesterday (28th of July) and I took the opportunity to get the games out for the children to play with.

I didn't take the gardening set as I thought I would save this for Grandad's house where Spud has previously planted his own flowers, I did take the cricket set, but due to the fact two of the three babies/toddlers were around, we thought we would save the cricket set for the park.

All of the games went down equally as well as each other with the children, and even the adults had a go on the orange monster stilts and the kite with my second eldest brother Paul taking the opportunity to sing 'lets go fly a kite'!

All of the outdoor toys we was sent was suitable for ages 3+ and each set/item cost £4 but Wilko have an offer on where a lot of their outdoor toys including all of the items we were sent are 2 for £6 saving you £2 if you was to buy two of the items.

Even the two babies/toddlers got involved, not that they could play the actual games properly, but they still enjoyed the colours and the idea of swapping the bats with each other every couple of minutes!

All of the children present had something to do, weather playing alone with the stilts or the kite, or if they was playing together against each other, I think we lost the balls a few times, but when doesn't that happen with ball games!? Even professional footballers lose the ball in the live TV matches!
