Spin Master Hedbanz Review

Sadly this is the very last review of 2012 I will be doing for Spin Master, this is the 3rd item from Spin Master we have reviewed, hopefully it's only the last Spin Master item of 2012 and not for a lifetime! Although we had some issue's with the Nano Speed set they sent us, the Doctor Dreadful Zombie Lab was a real sweet delight and our final item from Spin Master for 2012, the Hedbanz game is fabulous, so fabulous in fact, I joined in the game with the kids!

Inside the box was 68 various printed cards each with a different picture on, the categories range from food to vehicles, clothing, animals and more, 6 suggested questions cards including questions like what colour am I? 24 counters for scoring, 6 adjustable headbands to hold the cards on your head, 1 timer and a manual.

The game is suitable for the ages of 7+ and is suitable for 2-6 players. Spud invited our next door neighbours round after school to help him review the game, I remember vaguely playing some kind of version of this when I was a child, only we didn't have fancy printed cards of plastic headbands!

The game is very simple and easy, the children each place an adjustable headband onto their heads, they then each  pick a card making sure that they themselves do not see the photo but the other players can.

They then take it in turns to guess what 'they are' asking questions to the other players, the other  players can only answer specifically, for example Spud was a mouse so he asked questions like what colour am I? Can I talk? Am I an animal? Do I have whiskers? Spud then had to guess what he was before the time ran out (30 seconds), I actually ended up taking the timer away from the game because the youngest got upset. If the player successfully guesses what they are, they win a chip, the player with the most chips is the winner.

It was so fun watching the children playing the game, I decided to join in, hey, they do say if you can't beat them - join them! We also pulled out our Disney Hedbanz game - because who doesn't love Disney!?

Spin Master HedBanz is available to buy with a suggested RRP of £11.99 from Argos, Smyths, Toys R Us, Amazon and many more places.

Until next time,
